It's not hard to go way over your budget when it comes to decorating a baby nursery. There are plenty of cute baby items that are available and it is very easy to get lured in by them. Be sure that you make a reasonable budget for the room and stick to it. If you don't have a lot of money to spend on the nursery, make sure you spend the bulk of the money on a quality crib and furniture rather than decorations for the walls.
Baby nursery bedding is certainly more contrasting than it used to be. It used to be that all you required to use for nursery bedding was a crib, blanket and some bassinets and everything was fine. Nursery bedding has got way overly sophisticated for babies that will never know the difference. As with all matters; nursery bedding is not really designed with the baby in mind, but with the intent on impressing others with your power to buy expensive or hot items for the baby. Let's admit it, a baby doesn't care if he rests in a dresser drawer as long as he is well fed and dry. Uncomplicated wooden cribs are now developed with costly gold and marble inlays; hand crafted designs, and overhead canopies. Nursery bedding is beginning to look like adult furniture in its lavishness and price.
