This bedroom definitely feels sumptuous. As you can see, the decor is very simple. But the details are all very well chosen and the attention to detail is amazing. The colors chosen for the décor are simple and earthy, which makes the room feel casual and inviting. The textures are marvelous and the chandelier is the most impressive detail.
We go now from a generous color palette to a monochromatic décor. This bedroom features various shades of the same color: yellow. The designer played with textures and patterns to create a dynamic décor. Everything here seems to match perfectly and the color shades complement each other beautifully.
Given the fact that the bedroom is a private space usually perceived as a relaxing and serene environment, the colors associated with its interior are usually pastels, neutrals and soft shades. However, you can create a beautiful bedroom décor even with intimidating colors such as black. It’s uncommon to see a black bedroom but we have selected a few examples that show this type of décor can also be inviting and quite pleasant.
The first element of these styles to consider is gold. Because wood was always a prominent feature in Baroque furniture, gilding was often applied and the ornamentation was almost always done in gold. This bedroom features several telling characteristics, such as the extravagant gold ornamentation atop the tufted headboard. While that is decidedly Baroque, the lavish bedding is more Rococo because it is made from silk.
