It's the moment you've been waiting for over. You are out of hospital and you're about to bring your little prince or princess into their baby nursery room. But which baby products do you really need, and what would be considered a luxury? And how and when do you set it up?
Purchasing a wedge and sleep positioner will be significantly helpful. As the name implies, this is a soft, sleeping device you place a baby in that will prevent the baby from moving or rolling around. Such a device presents no potential harm to the child making it perfect for peace of mind when you are asleep. Of course, it is also recommended to fully inspect such an item before placing the baby in it. You do not want to risk the baby's safety with a defective product.
The cribs and bassinets alone can cost up to $2000 or more. That is not including the pillows, sheets, bumper pads and blankets. Baby pillows are an odd supplement to a crib for a newborn because they are not even thought to be using them. The formerly simply fashioned bassinet that appeared like a half-canopied basket is now beginning to have its extras too. Bassinets are designed with wooden inlays etc, and they are motorized to sway the baby to sleep so that parents do not have to rock them with their foot anymore. It seems that advanced technology is not only making baby live like the rich and famous, but parents don't even have to come within 2 feet of their babies if they don't want to as the new found accessories to bed clothing include, music boxes, mobiles, and remote controlled rocking etc. Nursery bedding is almost as advanced as adult bedding.
Many new parents insist that they have to choose a theme for a baby's nursery. A nursery can look just as nice without a theme than with one. Keeping the room simple with some nice paint colors and great furniture can make an awesome nursery. When the baby gets older, it will be easier to change the room according to what your toddler or young child wants. Don't let others convince you that a nursery theme is necessary, as it is only one of your decorating options.
