While we all enjoy the 'new look' that a nursery decoration can give to an old or used nursery, there is no baby nursery décor that can make an unsafe nursery safe. That is why you should always inspect a nursery for potential defect prior to placing the baby in it. This is true of both new and used nurseries.
Functional considerations means bedding material must be of materials that are easily washed, cleaned and ironed. Baby like color fabrics, and so bright colors will add a new glow to the nursery room. Unless you can lower the restraining sides of a baby crib and use the bed as a changing place for the baby, you might need to purchase a separate desk or changing table with ample space for to place the baby during changing of nappies or wiping the baby.
Also, baby nursery decor that is connected or affixed to a nursery can sometimes create entanglement risks. That means the child's hands can get caught in the nursery decoration. In some instance, if the baby nursery decor becomes loose, a suffocation hazard is possible. That is why it is critical to make sure there are no gaps in the decor where the baby's fingers can reach through. It is important to ensure the decorations can not come loose from the nursery and surround the child.
Most baby shops will present you with a wealth of brochures offering the most tastefully designed baby nursery furniture, colour-coordinated baby bedding sets, baby clothing, and other such items. All of it looks very tempting, and you can probably imagine your new baby living happily ever after in this royal environment, with everything sparkling and new.
