It should be simple, but it’s not. Decorating a bedroom is more complicated then we usually think. It’s not enough to just choose a bed and a storage unit and fit them in the same room. You have to pay attention to numerous other details. The whole décor needs to feel like a harmonious space and you need to carefully choose all the decorations and elements that complement the basic furniture pieces. Each person prefers certain characteristics and has a favorite style. We managed to select 10 of our favorite bedroom interior decors. We hope you share the same preferences or that you can at least find elements that you like in these examples.
Black is not a very common color to be found in most interior decors, especially when it comes to wall colors and especially in bedrooms. But, even so, black can be a very beautiful and bold accent color. There are lots of ways in which you can use black in the décor and still have an airy and bright bedroom. If you insist on painting all your bedroom’s walls black, then you should paint the ceiling white.
Given the fact that the bedroom is a private space usually perceived as a relaxing and serene environment, the colors associated with its interior are usually pastels, neutrals and soft shades. However, you can create a beautiful bedroom décor even with intimidating colors such as black. It’s uncommon to see a black bedroom but we have selected a few examples that show this type of décor can also be inviting and quite pleasant.
Sometimes the combination with the white walls and other white items in the room (for example a simple white chair) is even more elegant and stylish and less dark. But if you do decide to have such a red and black bedroom and you do not have white walls, you might consider having very big windows , as you do not use the bedroom only at night and it might look creepy in the daylight if it does not have enough light.
