It's sometimes easy for newfound parents to get overcome by the onslaught of info involving what they should and should not do for their little one. Acquaintances, relatives, well-meaning strangers-it seems like just about everyone has an impression to offer. To add to the confusion, it seems like every other day, the news show sports a new baby product that's been recalled for being dangerous or even fatal. In the face of all this info and confusion, it's hard to be confident but if your crib is brand new, chances are, it meets all the safety criteria.
The cribs and bassinets alone can cost up to $2000 or more. That is not including the pillows, sheets, bumper pads and blankets. Baby pillows are an odd supplement to a crib for a newborn because they are not even thought to be using them. The formerly simply fashioned bassinet that appeared like a half-canopied basket is now beginning to have its extras too. Bassinets are designed with wooden inlays etc, and they are motorized to sway the baby to sleep so that parents do not have to rock them with their foot anymore. It seems that advanced technology is not only making baby live like the rich and famous, but parents don't even have to come within 2 feet of their babies if they don't want to as the new found accessories to bed clothing include, music boxes, mobiles, and remote controlled rocking etc. Nursery bedding is almost as advanced as adult bedding.
